One of the most attractive new products in the 2018 Giorgetti collection is Galet by Ludovica+ Roberto Palomba, a series comprising: dormeuse, 2-seat sofa, day bed and pouf with the base in solid ash wood complete the family of tables with the same name.
What emerges immediately, at first glance, are the deliberately sensual shapes, evident mainly in the dormeuse and day bed. A closer look reveals that they are also present in the other components of the series.
A new design is emerging from this revisitation of classical furnishings. Decorative simplifications produce clean, sober and sophisticated forms that accent the "coquettish" personality that the dormeuse and the vis-a-vis enjoyed at one time, when they were common additions to living rooms of wealthy people.
The backrest and seat upholstery is also interesting. They can be done in two different fabrics to make the piece more exclusive.
Another customising element, the dormeuse is available in two different variants: with backrest on the right or on the left.
